    WTO rules

Does anyone know which developed countries rely solely on WTO rules?

Very few if any. They are the default starting point from which more sophisticated arrangements can be made.

What the UK is doing is pretty unprecedented.

There is a section in there:

"Do other countries rely solely on WTO rules?"

"Very few countries rely solely on WTO rules in relation to their trade with the rest of the world."

        But doesn't actually list them.

Perhaps emerging new nations such as South Sudan?

But Boris said WTO rules would be perfectly OK.

              lets do something really scary

set up mutually beneficial trade routes with those countries which want to

and those which seek to impose large tariffs which make trade impossible we can forget.....

unless 'someone' steps in a starts trying to stop us doing that....

They are limp home mode. They keep the wheels turning, but not designed for speed and efficiency.

We need to go through a re-birth on the world stage. WTO will give us a framework to build on - if we need it.

Maybe we can establish a route across Asia to trade silk and horses with the Han Dynasty.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Pretty sure the silk road was turned into a toll motorway years ago?
