Not quite but its Cardiff. So with travel it is about same.

Why would they come looking for retrospective tax?

Role has been defined as inside IR35 so thats the way it is. Previous role was outside IR35 so no issues.

I can see an issue with continuing in a role that was outside and is then declared inside by client. But this is new client.
