    Golf: The Masters

    Anyone got anything planned for the weekend's action?

    I was expecting the usual year on year deterioration in the BBC's coverage of this event but I'm actually pleasantly surprised.

    The Beeb will be screening live action on Saturday and Sunday but are also showing action from the Amen Corner series of holes on their interactive service.

    Looks like I'll be having a finger on my red button a lot this weekend then

    Curious, I wouldn't have thought most women are remotely interested in golf

      At the next Ryder cup, can the UK still compete in the Europe side?

        Well you're quite mistaken.

        Just a few high profile women who play golf that spring to mind;

        Naga Munchetty (the BBC Breakfast presenter)
        Hazel Irvine
        Keren Woodward from Banarama
        Siouxsie Sioux.

        All very keen golfers.

          High profile! Really?

          I am not sure any of them would "spring" to mind in any context let alone Golf.

            Siouxsie plays golf? Really?!

            Mind you, considering Alice Cooper, Lou Reed and Iggy Pop all teamed up for a pro-celebrity tournament, I can well believe it.

                I don't think she'd find her red button with military precision GPS, what with her being gricer in drag.
