    The SPOUT prize

Brexit is a thing. It is an important thing which will affect just about everyone in the UK and, undoubtedly, all UK citizens living in other EU countries; most people will, understandably, have a viewpoint and a stance on it.

However there seems to be a trend on CUK for every single thread to turn, sooner or later, to the topic of Brexit. It's getting very boring. It seems that some members and their various sock-puppets are unable to discuss anything else on the boards. like these:-

Here in a thread on Tory Manifesto
    http://forums.contractoruk.com/gener...ml#post2417525

Here in a thread on lottery winners not having to support their prodigal son
    http://forums.contractoruk.com/gener...ml#post2417739

Here in a thread on child sex abuse FFS
    http://forums.contractoruk.com/gener...ml#post2417814

I realise that Some People are zoned or Informationally deprived, and anyway we're all guilty of it, so I propose an award for anyone who just can't help themselves, maybe something along the lines of Godwin's law but for Brexit addicts.

I thought of the recursive acronym "SPOUT" (Spouts Poison Or Uninformed Tosh), but happy to hear other suggestions... I'm sure that a nation that can come up with Boaty McBoatFace or merge Britan/Greece/France with Exit will be able to think of something?

    Doesn't Increment Communal Knowledge?
Will Answer Not Knowing EU Reasoning?

    or merge-words

    Complete False Starter?

(...and I can't be the first nominee 'cos "Brexit" was the first word in this thread!)

Sit down, have a cup of tea and talk to your mum about it.

So cutting, so erudite. Almost Joycean in its controlled arcadian outpouring.

Brexiters are naturally angry people. They thought that winning the referendum would satisfy them; but it did not. They now want more. It’s the same as thinking self-abuse will satisfy themselves. What they need is anger management.

They are only angry because they are fearful. Show them a little kindness.
