So what should the UK do about it?

Current policy is trade with SA, largely arms, and use that relationship to gently press upon certain issues through diplomacy.

    What is the alternative?

      WTF?

Are you having a laugh? It's their money and books that are responsible for murder in our streets and all we can do is sell them bombs? You are perfect for the Tory party.

This is our current relationship - if the relationship is wrong (debatable) then what should change?

Fund and support movements that destabilise Saudi in favour of democratic liberal principles. Obtain and publicise images and videos of princes in compromising positions.

I guess we may as well continue doing what we are doing - it's working so far. 9/11 was no big deal and the continuing increase of extremism is cool too. The fact they use the arms to bomb the hell out of poor countries really shouldn't be on our conscious either....

Support those in the region who are fighting terrorism - Iraq, Lebanon, Syria are all waging wars against Saudi Proxies yet we decide to support the terrorist. Iraq has lots of oil if that's what we are after.

There is a difference with Saudi in that you already effectively have ISIS running the show.

                    That's not my understanding.

I understood that there is a fragile peace between more moderate royalty and leadership and a large part of the extremist/wasabi population.
