Actually these stories are a little bit misleading as the talks over the next couple of days are being handled by civil servants (unelected representatives of the British electorate BTW) and Davis is back on Thursday to make sure that they didn't sign away the rest of the Treasury...Although it was a bit strange seeing one side with a lot of bumpf and him with diddly squat, maybe he's got a brain the size of a planet
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Davis et al. are approaching the media ops like utter n00bs. They were clearly taken into a staging room for the photo op and Davis should've had the presence of mind to question why Barnier and his team might have brought their papers into a staging room. Davis then heads back to London within the hour and further foot shooting ensues. He's a seasoned politician, and he really should know better.

I can't believe it took him an hour to tell them to do one - even if it needed translating into 26 languages. I'd have used sign language... s

His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

David Davis is as 'thick as mince' and as 'lazy as a toad', says Vote Leave chief | The Independent

The former head of the Vote Leave campaign has branded the Brexit Secretary as “thick as mince” and “as lazy as a toad”.
                The wheels are coming off.

                I'm alright Jack

It's 2017. Who the hell brings a A4 ream of printed paper into a meeting anyway?

They should have had iPads and done the whole thing over Skype.

The EU should legislate against unnecessary printing and business travel. It's bad for the environment.
