EU retaliation against the UK escalates

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...opean-airports

British passengers flying to and from continental Europe for their summer holidays face the prospect of “devastating” delays because of tougher Schengen area border controls.

Sadly, the UK will just play fair and not introduce just as strict border controls for those from the schrengen area.

Though Southern Europe, which relies heavily on UK tourists, will see a huge drop in visitors next year. They will all go to Filey instead...

All this brexit saga reminds me of this:

Is the great plan to make things more and more unbearable, then show that if they take it all away through a second referendum and remain vote, we will all be happy little campers?

So the two papers that most consistently complain that EU border controls are too weak are now moaning that EU border controls are too strict. ******* snowflakes...

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

The extra security controls are not aimed at the UK only they are part of a EU wide increase in border controls so nothing to do with Brexit, Germans, Italians and French are also caught up in this. Agree with the fact that they should have employed these people a lot earlier but as Gatwick , Edinburgh and Manchester are in the top 4 worst airports for delays and cancelled flights don't think the UK can complain too much.

Actually this isn't because of Brexit, the UK is still in the EU, there are simply not enough security staff, but it is a taste of things to come.

Hold on, how can they have stricter border checks in some countries - that would mean that those countries have sovereignty over their borders and are in the EU. No, but that must be wrong because the only reason the UK voted to leave was £350million a week to the NHS taking back control of our borders.

If some EU countries have done this deliberately because of the UK, it is only to show the UK that the former UK Home Secretary could have done the same 6 years ago, but she refused to, instead the Leave campaign falsely blamed the EU.
It's funny to see these papers who fought for tougher border controls are the first ones to complain about them.

The sad fact is that the UK has failed to control terrorism and failed to control non-EU illegal immigration. There has not been any exit controls in the UK for 20 or more years.

EU planning to prevent UK airlines flying to the EU

The UK government can put that in their Brexit pipe and smoke it.

Poor little Brexiteer snowflakes think that the meanies are picking on them again. This would of course affect flights from other EU non-Schengen countries and territories.

Why do Brexiters continue to believe they should receive the benefits of membership without paying for it? Why dammit why?!
