    Evening All,

If Brexit hadn't happened, what would we be talking about all day ?

And, what would the government be doing ?

    Milan.

It hasn't happened. There was a referendum and subsequently a snap general election but so far nothing has been resolved.

The referendum for Brexit was inevitable. Cameron called it to defuse UKIP. If he hadn't then he might have had to share power with UKIP in order to form a government.

UKIP would have been preferable to the DUP.

DUP may be deranged but they are at least pragmatic.

Its what we wouldn't be talking about that is more important , staycations , easily being able to work in Europe, large employers like banks and chemical companies threatening to leave without access to Europe , Investment in the UK dropping like a stone as companies realise access to the EU market is not as freely available, future technologies being dismantled and moved back to Europe ...etc. etc.

There again a discussion on fantasies like sovereignty , making our own laws and controlling immigration , Irish border , trade etc. are also interesting considering they amount to diddly squat and nobody has any solutions one year down the line.
