    Top of the property market

Father raffles off £175,000 home in Acklam for £5 a ticket | Daily Mail Online

Seeing more of this kind of bollux.

    Saw it last time too.

Time for the govt to slash interest rates, crank up the QE and gives Tory donating housebuilder landbanker billionaires more tax advantages me thinks....

That's a ****ton of tickets to sell. What happens if he doesn't manage to sell 30,000+ tickets - does he have to do the raffle anyway?

Edit: Oh, I read the article properly after. Ya caught me!

I'm looking forward to what happens when his council finds out and asks for the appropriate licence from the gaming board.

Hint if you are doing something like this spot the ball is a game of skill not chance...

the For Sale sign board is still outside the house. I bet the estate agent comes for their 5% of the total take.

            So many points here...

            1) Acklam - where the heck is that?

            2) Acklam, Middlesbrough - okay check - £175k for that? DOOMED!! - You'd need to be off your rocker if you believe that amount of cash is equivalent to that property.

            3) Some in the comments section - hard to tell, it that a bloke or a woman? Warning - Avoid the ladies in Acklam.

I once raffled a dog for £5 a ticket. Made £5000. Only problem was, the dog was dead.

You do understand the difference between sole agency, ans sole selling rights, don't you?

AtW has already called the top of the property market when he bought that flat a while ago.

Though if he'd held out a few more months they'd have chucked in a new sofa like that other incentive of offering a free car that was 'common' last time house prices topped out.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.
