    Student loans again

Know we've done this subject before when Corbyn spouted some drivel but there's some recent news:

The vast majority of students will never repay their student loans, according to a study that calls for wide-ranging changes to the university fees system.

The Sutton Trust report said 81 per cent of students will never repay their debt in full and highlighted how the current system of loans means poorer students carry the heaviest debt burden.

There is a lot of lefty crap about addressing this issue in the article but surely the more sensible and obvious conclusion is that, if their qualifications do not allow them to earn enough to repay their loans in full, they are a total waste of money anyway. Much better to provide full grants to the most able students taking degrees that the country needs and make the rest start working and paying taxes three years earlier.

Except that the entire purpose of 50% of people in University is to mask and delay youth unemployment figures
