    Bitcoin price, where next?

Just as a bit of fun.

The current price is hovering around $6000, having previously peaked at just under $20000 in December.

Where do you think the price will go the rest of this year?

You can pick more than one value. For example if you think it will fall to $3000 but then recover and go on to a high of $25000, then pick the 4th and 9th options.

$30k by the Summer followed by a crash of 40-50% then a rally to $50K by December.

But ignore the dollar value. Really. Just focus on accumulating coins. If your ATL explodes 10 fold, don't get caught up in the euphoria. Sell 50% into BTC. Sell the rest if the rally continues, either way you've locked in the profits so that you can now cash in by the summer or December.

I am still not sure if this is a crash or normal BAU for bitcoin and its ilk. This is what unregulated wild west trading is all about. If in any regulated market like stocks, gold or currency this behaviour had happened, we would have seen trading suspended and some arrests.

Bitcoin value will go down to zero and will be replaced by a regulated crypto currency.
Bitcoin itself will never be an official cryptocurrency as it is currently mostly in the wallets of criminals

If the city boys indulged in any price manipulation in 2008, they would have been investigated and justice served. Any specific case you got in mind?
