    Sports Personality of the Year

A shortlist of 10 contenders has been named for the 2006 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.

Equestrian star Zara Phillips, golfer Darren Clarke, tennis player Andy Murray, plus boxers Joe Calzaghe and Ricky Hatton are among the candidates.

Cyclist Nicole Cooke, cricketer Monty Panesar, gymnast Beth Tweddle, darts champion Phil Taylor and Formula One's Jenson Button complete the list.
Shows what a great year it has been for British sport eh?

Phil Taylor would be my choice just to see how the faces in the sports establishment react. He is the only world beating "sportsman" we have.

Yes, but why stop there - she is ugly full stop - a possible world beater in the ugly stakes
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

            I preferred version 1!

What happened to those two Romanian Gymnasts who posed in the nude? They had to forfeit their Olympic medal was the last heard.

Take it you've never heard of Mick Gault then.

Why the feck he didnt get a nomination I don't know. Its not like winning 14 commonwealth medals is easy or anything. Then again "shooting" isnt a very PC sport so the BBC wouldn't allow it. After all everyone with guns are all hungerfors in waiting are'nt we.

Dont even get me started on how we are the only country in the world that has outlawed an olympic sport (feck knows what it going to happen with London 2012 comes around).

Oh right, they'll do what they did with Manchester and have armed police meet athletes as they arrive and escort thier "weapons" in armoured security vans. They are target pistols ffs! They weren't actually outlawed by the tories when Dunblane happened (guess what, he didnt use target pistols) they were outlawed by the labour to convince people (read: mothers for guns) that they were making Britain safer.

More people are killed by stockings, christmas lights, dogs each year than legally held firearms but you dont see the banned do you?

Rant over ..... man that took it out of me.
