I’ve tried a few online with quite a wide range of ‘take home’ results.

I’d be interested for those of you who have actually used umbrellas - how accurate they are.

For example, For a 12 month gig on £500/d what would be a realistic (non avoiding) take home figure to work upon?

Thanks; on this basis...

£500 x 220days (I find this a good annual guesstimate) x 52-56% =

£57.2k (£4,767/m) - £61.6k (£5,133/m)

Which reflects a conventional salary (salary calculator) of;

£85k - £92.5k
