All PSC's will be subject to IR35 ... Tory Budget...

Well, they promised to reform IR35...

great. Have they defined a PSC yet?
Cos until they do what you suggest is pointless.

Besides, IR35 already affects all LTD companies. So what are you saying?

The definition seems to be a sole person in a Ltd company giving a service, specifically the word contractor.

is that a legal definition or your idea of what HMRC would like to think it is?
Last I remember is that PSC isn't defined legally and on that basis is difficult to win a case about.

I've started a cake related thread as a place to sound off disgust and general anti-HMRC sentiment.

We still need to wait until the 29th of October for the autumn budget and as well the conservative party still needs to negotiate with the various factions within their party for a successful budget to be voted on (remembering the fact that we still have currently a government only functioning on a confidence and supply system to keep themselves propped up). Quite a bit of conjecture is up in the air with news outlets refusing to name sources directly for their articles on the Private Sector IR35 reforms, just wait and see then we can draw conclusions.

Whatever plans the conservatives have can change given the very fluid nature of the political field at the moment in the UK.

Can't we just bung the DUP a few quid to veto it. They control the Cons now.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Will we be much worse off if Corbyn gets in or will we then be looking at IR36?
