I am guessing the SQ8 is going to be a little bit more expensive than the SQ7

Aston DBX?

DBX - Aston Martin's first luxury SUV | Aston Martin (https://global.astonmartin.com/future-models/dbx)

By the time you've made up your mind, you should be able to get a cheap second hand one.

On a serious note, "Doug DeMuro" has a video review of the 2019 model Q8 on youtube - he appears impressed.

Zig - in "find the link yourself" mode!

What's the use case and requirements?

Performance as a road car, performances as a 4x4, etc?

all in all, it's safer isn't it and that's what you are paying for

not far away there

the higher up driving position is safer on long journeys, on the motorway when you can make your decisions based upon three cars ahead rather than just the car in front of you

the incredible Quattro system combined with the height adjustable air suspension (which we have on the current one) is useful for getting out of trouble

the extra power 435hp would be useful spare capacity for when needed in special situations - just gives you more options for over taking in spaces where lower spec engines wouldn't have enough room/time

all in all, it's safer isn't it and that's what you are paying for

What's the budget?

It appears his requirements are based on what Audi put in the spec (must have the Quattro system, must have 435bhp, no more, no less, etc) and his budget will be whatever an Audi SQ7/8 costs

Air Suspension

This isn't a requirement. This is one manufacturer's way of providing adaptive suspension.

What exactly is your requirement for suspension adjustment?

my goal in my ideal world is less than 90k gbp including Vat

but I expect it might be a little more but hopefully not :-(

the current Q7 will be traded in, and the new depreciated over 5 years against Plan B

the current Q7 has a trade in value of about 20 grand

so trading in the existing one gives that's about 70k incl Vat, take off the Vat and we've got a 90k car for 55k, pay down half in cash and half on finance over 5 years and it works nicely, by taking the 5 years finance, the insurance payments are factored in to the finance deal

not bad and then of course in five years we trade it in again

Brand must begin with Aud?

Or are you open to other brands? A Cayenne S sounds like it would be in budget.
