    Christmas attack 'highly likely'

    The chances of an attempted terror attack over the Christmas period are "highly likely", John Reid has said.

    The home secretary told GMTV's Sunday show the terrorist threat facing the UK was "very high indeed"

    Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair claims the UK is facing an unparalleled and growing threat of a terrorist attack.

    However, he said there was "no specific intelligence" about an imminent attack but the threat was "ever present".
    ...constant war against Eurasia or Eastasia.

        The Chances of a terror attack over the New Year Period is highly likely, therefore all citizens are requested to leave their passport with the Department of Truth until further notice - this is in the interest of national security.
