    Tracing Mobile Numbers

    Just received a text from what looks like a normal mobile number (07814) but have no idea who it's from. Anyone know if it's possible to set up a dodgy text scam using a normal number? Or is there a way I can find out who it is before replying?

    Cheers

    Use your clients phone to answer
    How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

      Forget it. If it's important they'll get back to you.

          Tried but came up with nothing. Think I'll just do as Spartacus suggests.

          Thanks anyway.

                Then it wasn't important. Time is money and all that.

                  Sorry this is old and should be in light relief, but here goes...

                  Postulate 1: Knowledge is Power.
                  Postulate 2: Time is Money.

                  As every engineer knows: Power = Work / Time .... (a)
                  Since Knowledge = Power, and Time = Money .... (b)
                  Substituting equation (b) into (a),we have:
                  Knowledge = Work / Money .... (c)
                  Solving for Money, we obtain:
                  Money = Work / Knowledge .... (d)
                  Thus, as Knowledge approaches zero, Money approaches infinity regardless, of the amount of Work done.

                  Conclusion: The Less you Know, the More you Make.
