    Credit Card Application

Tried searching on the forums for any info, sorry if this has been answered elsewhere.

I have only been contracting for just over a year and I was thinking of changing my Credit Card, do Credit card companies like contractors?

The applications that come through the post ask for your employment status and one box states "Self employed", do i tick this box and cross my fingers.

Any experiences you have, would be appreciated.

    Thanks

If you have a ltd co, you are not "Self Employed". You're employed by "MyCo Ltd".

I haven't had any problems. I tick the 'employed' box as I'm employed by my umbrella company. Others will be working through their own ltd but are still classed as employees - I very much doubt there are any 'self-employed' people on this board.

What if you put "company director"?
