Hang on! Now House Prices "Cooling"

So last week we were looking at maybe 15% rises according to the lenders and estate agents. Now they are rising at only 0.3%

It's almost as if those with a vested interest in putting people into debt are bigging up the market...

No, its 0.3% for Jan with a 9.5% for the last 12 months. Do try to keep up.

I think that is a load of hogwash.

House prices rising at 10%? When in 2005 they were at 2% wtf?

They are not rising over 5 times faster (10% of now is more than 5 times of what 2% was).

Your average tracker mortgage is around 7% now, how long before it's 8%?

Almost double what the discount periods would have been in the boom!
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
