A combination of registering with the Mailing Preference Service, Telephone Preference Service and having an ex-directory landline has minimised my exposure to junk mail and random calls from our our old colonial chums in Asia.
However since setting up a new company in preparation for April I have started receiving company-related junk mail. Its like vultures circling the second you have registered something at companies house, despite ticking the box that declines unsolicited contact.
It did give me great satisfaction to tell HSBC they could shove it over their Indian call centres though.
The MPS only covers residential addresses, is there anything similar for protecting companies?
For now I have just been contacting company junkers to ask them to remove my company/address from their mailing list.
