Apparently the government want to introduce a pay as you go road tax.

With a GPS tracking device and it works out more expensive - no suprise there then.

Oh, and I think you'll find it will be as well as vehicle excise duty, not instead of.

Complete that petition and they'll have you pegged as a trouble-maker!

One of the transport junior ministers was on the radio this morning...............

"We won't introduce it if we can't convince the general public of the benefits" :rolleyes:


Hmmm new direction for the liebour party................

Your better off with more tax :rollin:
The NHS is better off with less beds & nurses :rollin:
Everyone is more secure with less policemen :rollin:

I Just tried to look at a few more of the petitions available, and got

Funny that - as every other part of the site works ok - only when I try and submit my signature to the petition. Of course, there's a rational explanation - that this has been the case since 10:30.
