I find it quite amusing the amount of people on here who talk about how much money they've got - who f**king cares!! If I told my mates what I earned, they call me a flash c**t and to f**k off - luckily I don't go on about money, as it's a rather boring subject.

What's the point of saving a sh*t load - you can't spend it when you're dead.

You obviously don't have children.

I agree - when you're young, get out there, enjoy life, experience as much as you can.

There comes a point when other people are reliant upon you for food and shelter - things are different then. Again enjoy yourself - but offer security as well.

Things change when you have the most gorgeous little baby looking at you for food, warmth, fun, protection and guidance.

Well said Bear, I'm in the same boat.

I saved f all until I was about 29 years old. Now a few years later I'm finally doing OK. My contract will probably end in a month or so and there's nothing else out there for me.... and you know what, I don't have to give a flying fancy because I saved hard for me and my family the past couple of years.

It'll be nice to semi-retire!

Actually it's the private run homes that you have to wary of.
