    Feeling stifled?

I got this from Pathway resourcing:

Feeling stifled by your organisation? You are not the only one!

A significant divide has been reported between the goals that drive IT professionals and the opportunities that are available to them within their organisations. Many organisations have been found to be unwilling to help individuals achieve their potential and grow their skill set through training and development.

If you feel that your current position is not giving you the room to grow and you are seeking a greater challenge please update your CV with Pathway and we will work with you to find your ideal role.

    Kindest Regards

    Kate Burns
    Pathway Resourcing
Personally, the goals that drive me are 1. money & 2. see 1.

Not a great epitaph though, is it?

Here lies bobhope - he liked his cash
Plan A is located just about here.
If that doesn't work, then there's always plan B

          I enjoy my job!

          I enjoy my free time!

          I enjoy my life!

          I'm a happy bunny!

I hate with a passion the "socialist" bastards running this country.

yep, there is a reason it is called work. I try to enjoy what I can, have a laugh with people occasionally, even get some sense of achievement but I am here for the money and if I could finance my life by other means as easily I would.
You get institutionalised over the years of getting up for work, it takes up so much of your life it is no wonder many people are completely lost when they retire with no idea what to do with themselves.
I want to be out at 55, which is optimistic, I ain't working a day after 60 though and I don't care how much cash I've got by then.

At current rate of progress, I'll be working until I'm 78.

                Just like my grandfather.

The thing that stopped him was Alzheimers... (though it wasn't called that then).
No, it was called "Oh tulip I've misplaced the bus keys again!".

He died peacefully in his sleep, not like his passengers at the time who were screaming like feck!

It is when it comes to work.

I take it you're one of those people who work for the love of it then?

It's like all the IT people I've met who work for investment banks and claim that they aren't interested in money: why do you work for a bank eh?
