    Snow chains

I'm driving to Meribel next week & I think I need to use snow chains (by law). How easy are these bad boys to fit & what are they like to drive with?

Dead easy to fit. You don't want to try and go too fast with them on. Be a dear and do pull over into a lay-by to take them on and off.

Sounds obvious but make sure you get the right kind for your tyres, you don't want to be stuck trying to fit a set that's too small (Been there, done that, not fun sliding around on a road 2000 feet up).
