    I'm not sure what their beef was - did the 'Left wing activists' actually own the building or were they just peeved off that their free squat place was been taken away from them ?

      it was just a squat that they had been ILLEGALLY occupying since sometime in the 80's.
      I remember seeing a programme about it a few years ago (maybe 10 or more), was basically full of crustys denouncing capitalism and everything else that gave them the easy life they enjoy so much.

            Indeed it does - except where the proper noun ends in s - then the apostrophe is after it. In this case it's "Threaded's". QED.
