    San Francisco

Got to get on a flight tomorrow and go 80 KM outside of San Fran to work in Palo Alto for 8 days......

Actually. I really don't fancy it.

Think like a real contractor: tell them to shove the gig up their arse and don't go.
    I'm Spartacus.

You could always go and see that wonderful bit of British Engineering - The San Francisco Tram System. There is a facinating museum about it.

Failing that - think of the invoice!

I've worked in Palo Alto. During the .CON boom it was a very trendy and happening place.

Alto Palo is famous for having far more men than women, basically everyone working there is a programmer.

You'll probably find lots of friendly programmers with nothing better to do than discuss pointers, references, and exceptions,
          I'm alright Jack

I've just be offered a job as a porn star, £1000 a day. Don't think I can be bothered though (just thought I'd let you feel small)
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Surely they can get a dildo for less than that?

You missed the point (again) baggy. I was not disputing that they had got themselves a dildo, I was just surprised that you were pitching in at such a high fee. Good for you, all that practise must have paid off!
