Mandelson doesn't want Brown to be unopposed

OK you may not like Mandelson but he is a shrewd operator who knows what he is doing. While the rest of his party are sleepwalking into Moron Gordon for PM, Mandy appears to have woken up to the possible election liability of the fat b@stard as PM.

Why the avatar? Well anyone accused of plotting against Gordon Brown can't be all bad.

Mandy is just peeved because Gordo has refused to rubber stamp his knighthood or OBE or what ever ex European trade ministers have become entitled too.

Mandelson is right for once. Or for the second time actually, since he backed Blair over Brown in 1994.

Brown is a semi-detached divot. And I wouldn't be surprised if he has BO and cacky kegs.

It's bad if they choose a more electable party leader (still looking unlikely), good otherwise.

The media machine will kick in and the morons will vote the fat g1t back in. Worst case scenario. Whereupon most of us will officially lose the will to live.
