    Holiday Period

    anyone else taking a contractor holiday next week (Mon-Thu). 9 days off for the price of 4. I do this every year. The other one is Christmas - 10 for the price of 3.

                    You are not getting paid for the 6 days you're not working.


                    Seriously, I think that's one of the benefits of being a contractor: having bank holidays when you want, 'cos let's face it bank holidays are normally:

                    Very rainy and/or
                    completely packed with people going where you want to go.


                    No, much better to take a day off when you want.
