    Lazy Contractors

Had to give a couple of contractors a telling off today for a long lunch and poor work ethics.

Makes me sick how you 'contractors' think you can swan about like you own the place.

You have control issues. We don't do control, we get the job done. If the jobs not being done you can complain. otherwise keep your trap shut.

How did you do that? Did you start a fight with them / thump them?

I told them both I used to be a contractor and I was now permie so I knew more than them. I also told them I earnt more than them and they were paupers compared to me, then I baited them about their Umbrella companies, lack of holiday pay/sick pay/pensions.

Then I laughed out loud, quietly at first and then reached a high crescendo of cackling.

        They got the message...

How much do painter and decorators charge these days then?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

you really have sunk rather low mf, and in such a short space of time too. clearly the 'permie' virus, while thankfully rare, is quite virulent.
