I dont think you can beat Barcelona personally.

Hotel Arts, on the Marina is beautiful (especially this time of year).

I went to Prague on a stag weekend ao didn't really get to see much of it other than the insides of seedy bars. But from what I remember it was an interesting place, great architecture - steeped in history, friendly locals and cheap like a bird. 4 hour flight however so a bit far for a weekend. I'm off to Vienna in may for a weekend which is closer and supposed to be a great weekend break. Another option is a ski resort. I've just been to Chamonix in france and although u can still ski it was 26 degress in the town, so shorts/t-shirt weather. Plenty of non ski things to do such as hiking, mountain biking, loads of restaurants & bars, easy to get to - 1 hr from Geneva and Geneva is 1.15 from Gatwick, Easyjet fly there. You don't really want to be doing 3hr+ flight time, with the check in & travel to airport u don't end up with much time over a weekend. And breathe.

Second that, Barca is a great city. If you want a great romantic hideaway try the hotel Neri in the gothic quarter. circa €350p/n (how much do you like this woman? )

Rome is great for 4-5 days too, especially late April/May.

I'll be there on 10th June for the MotoGP, luckily g/f's birthday falls on the same day. Romance & internal combustion, what a great combination

Or you can do a UK break. I stayed in the 4 seasons in Hampshire. Amazing hotel, managed to get a room discounted from £350 to £180 per night because there was a wedding on or something. Simon Cowell was there with Sinitta. I was star-struck - not!

                  Krakow....

I tulip you not its like a porno party over there. So many hot women that if you get bored with the one you take you can pick up another!

Also old and good to look at and I've heard women like tulip like that.

Holiday Inn in the city centre. My future wife works there serving breakfast.

It'll cost you about a tenner in a cab from the airport.

I had to go on my own last year, cause my mam had a heart attack over there (which was pleasant!) so the cabs definately dont rip you off (as I would have been the ideal candidate!)

Cost the same when I went back 6 months ago.

The place is really cool - you can do all the cathedral/cultural stuff, or you can wonder round shopping, or you can sit at the beach (or your pool), or do what we did and sit outside the pubs in the square and drink, eat tapas and be entertained by the street performers all day
