Story of a Contractor to Permie

Day 4. Bored beyond belief. Decided to work at home on my accounts from 2006 which were wrong.

Everyone at a large sales conference and IT have locked down my priviledges since going Perm as I have moved departments.

Got asked for a signed contract back today, still haven't signed. Might not make the month out as I am now suffering from Permitisis.

    Might go sick tomorrow.
What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

FFS, do you EVER stick at anything?

You are either walking out of, or in the process of being thrown out of, every job / contract.

Last time I was permie, I felt that way weeks before even starting.

                    So you will have done:

                    Induction with HR
The floor walk to meet all your dip stick colleagues (hope you remembered their names)
Found out where the stationary cupboard is
                    A tour of the canteen
                    Got your pass sorted out
                    Diversity training
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think
