Hmm - she says her bump touched the steering wheel. Isn't there something in the highway code about keeping a minimum of 30cm between the driver and the wheel?

Stalinist state (and those Soviets who supported it directly or indirectly) is responsible for deaths of around 50 mln Soviet people, mostly Russians, that's almost population of this country.

So when you mention Stalin then be sure you put things into perspective.

Ok, try Stalinist in the metaphorical (as if I needed to spell it out in the first place)

Not practical for any woman bearing twins (and not practical for a lot of women not bearing twins). Unfortunatly your legs don't get longer when you become pregnant and reaching the pedals is quite critical to being able to drive

** Waits for the ban pregnant women from driving mob to rear thier ugly heads.

I think a 'Stasi' state would be more apt. More in tune in Gordon's control freak tendencies.

Caught this in The Times today

"Secret plans to turn staff into police informersFrancis Elliott, Chief Political Correspondent
Council workers, charity staff and doctors will be required to tip off police about anyone whom they believe could commit a violent crime, under secret Home Office plans"

It was more from a safety point of view really. I wouldn't like to hit something with no clearance between me and the steering wheel/airbag.

This is so disgusting it beggars belief. Stabbin's too good for them. A proper necklacing would get the message through.

If her physical condition prevents her from being in proper control of the vehicle, she shouldn't be driving.
