I commute by bicycle and it depends on which client I off to, which way the wind is blowing, and if I get a puncture or not, but generally just over the 1 hour mark.

Just over an hour - 4.5 miles walk. I pity the forlorn souls I see on the way, peering out of the bus windows, crammed in like sardines.

90-120 minutes, but that's over 100 miles. Do I win on average speed?

An hour to drive 47 miles. It's shi* but marginally better than the Northern Line. My best commute was a 10 minute ferry ride on Sydney Harbour with a 5 min walk at the other end.

30 mins bus along euston road into marble arch

best commute 10km along auckland harbour (didn't matter if i drove, rode my bike or ran), but money wins hands down
