A two-year-old girl who suffered severe head injuries after allegedly being beaten by her City executive father died tonight.

Yanire Izaga was taken to St Thomas's Hospital on Sunday morning after a neighbour heard screams coming from the family's £1 million London apartment and called the police. Officers confirmed that she had been prounounced dead at 6.30 this evening.

I was reading this in the paper earlier.

What shocked me more was the guy who had an argument with his wife and then set fire to their house with himself and two young sons inside. None survived.

I have two little monsters (3, 5) and as infuriating as they can sometime be, they give a fullfilment that surpasses all my achievements to date in my life, and it's likely to remain that way...........
