The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

The gym I use has two systems - a load of in-house PTs that seem to be on basic + commission that charge between £30 - £40 per hour, and a few specialist trainers (boxing, kickboxing etc) that pay rent to the gym and charge £40 - £45 ph which they keep, and it's usually cash...

wonder how easy it is to get a gig in a gym then, because if you can more or less just trun up, for £25-£35ph in between contracts it may be worth it...

If it turns out to be that easy let me know - I'll do a few sit-ups and give it a go myself!
