    The Shadoks and the Gibis

Anyone know where I can download English-translated episodes of this?

    Shadoks and Gibis, on Youtube

It was a French cartoon, translated and shown on English TV in about 1973, about two planets, the Shadoks lived on one and the Gibis on the other. It was a work of genius.
The Shadoks and the Gibis features quite a bit of offbeat philosophical humor, roughly translated the first principle of Shadok logic is “Why to make things simple when you can make them complicated? “

Yes, and possibly Gordon Brown. Except the Shadoks are funny.
