    £200K for a tuliphole?

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/...st/6229908.stm

The property market in Scotland has reached a new high with a public toilet being sold for almost £200,000.

The toilet block in historic St Andrews has sold at auction for four times more than the guide price.

When £340K gets you a 2 bedroom apartment in Hackney of all places that is so small you cannot swing a mouse in it let alone a cat anything is possible.

I wonder what the council will spend the money on that they got from selling these assets. It's also a saving because they don't have to maintain them anymore.
