    Abba Nostalgia

For all those 60's children out there, I have recently being having a blast of Abba nostalgia and I have a top 3.

    1 Winner Takes All
Such a classic and a ballsy set of lyrics to write for your ex-wife to sing.

    2 SOS
Especially the video where the girls look so innocent, so young and so good.

    3. The Day Before You Came
Hugely underrated as it came right at the end when Abba were considered has-beens and a joke. So simple yet such a classic song. Also Agnetha looks fantastic in the video and I especially enjoy the shots on the station with all the overhead equipment.

Worthy mention at 3= Lay All Your Love On Me and Dancing Queen

    Who disagrees ?

I always thought "Name of the Game" was their finest work. Oh, and that one with the pan pipes intro, what's it called? Er, Chicken Tikka I think

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

I like the one about the London station.

I thought it was about a battle.

No. They named the battle after the station.

oh yeah, and i have met my destiny in quite a similar way
the history book on the shelf
                    is always repeating itself

waterloo - i was defeated, you won the war
waterloo - promise to love you for ever more
waterloo - couldn't escape if i wanted to
waterloo - knowing my fate is to be with you
waterloo - finally facing my waterloo

my my, i tried to hold you back but you were stronger
oh yeah, and now it seems my only chance is giving up the fight
and how could i ever refuse
i feel like i win when i lose
