    Gordon Brown

I see the New Lie are riding high with the general public putting Labour well ahead of the Tories in opinion polls.

And they say you can't fool all of the people all of the time.......

True, but maybe it's because he is trying to reverse Blair policies, such as the supercasino and 24 hour drinking. Next he'll bring back fox hunting!

Brown currently gives the impression to be someone of substance (whether or not the appearance is real or the substance is of value or not is another matter), whereas Cameron appears to be a Blair-like spinmeister. I think people have had enough of spin at the moment.

I don't think so, I think Brown is still in his honeymoon period and benefiting from the surge in popularity which that brings with it. But the Tories do need to raise their game a lot. Too much infighting and not enough bringing the government to task. The floods are a prime example. We seem to be getting a lot of serious floods in recent years yet Brown was the chancellor who cut the flood defneces budget. Surely that is an open invitation.

Cameron needs to do a Thatcher and get the Sun onside. While I was waiting for my Chinease last night I had a flick through it. Their comment section praised Brown to a certain degree, yet John Gaunt panned him.

            look lads,

            it's like this:

fact: the country has had economic stability for 10 years
fact: everyones houses are now worth a fortune
fact: everyone is up to their eyeballs with debt
fact: everyone relies on the value of their houses to keep them confident that they can manage their debt

FACT: EVERYONE WILL KEEP VOTING LABOUR AS LONG AS THE ECONOMIC SITUATION REMAINS STABLE FOR FEAR OF A NEW LOT FECKING THINGS UP

If I was a gambling man I'd put a wager now on Labour winning the next election.

            All the best.

Tis true Milan. We might have stifling taxation, piss poor public services, crippled transport, non-existent ejukation, immigration overload, massive debts, riddled with crime, but MY HOUSE IS WORTH MILLIONS!

                Vote Gordon!
