    M*a*s*h

I watched this (the film) for the first time last night.

I nearly turned it off after 10 mins, but stuck with it and ended up loving it. I reckon I only heard 40% of the dialogue though!

Was the TV series much cop? Same cast?

TVseries was better. Alan Alda was brilliant.

TV series was better, but, like all of 'em, finally slid inexorably into schmaltz.

The last episode was VERY good, though.

Best TV series: The Good Life. It ended on a high - rare.

The film was pretty rubbish I thought. The TV series got better and better the more they stopped trying to be a comedy.

How did The Good Life end? Killing spree?

Yes, and I think the priest was in the film as well.

Mike Farrell? No he's still in the game, I think.
