Usually between 140K and 170K south pacific peso's which equates to the 60K-90K bracket above, if i were back in blighty it'd be the next bracket up, low 100's in sterling!!

Company turnover? Gross salary? Net take home pay?

I think the daily rate poll (http://forums.contractoruk.com/general/18376-daily-rate-poll.html?highlight=daily+rate+poll) was probably a better indication of distribution of earnings on this board...?

Nah, because it doesn't account for the layabouts on high daily rates who, for whatever reason, work around 100 days a year.

I think it must mean gross salary. Company turnover would include all sorts of extras like business expenses, support staff etc. And it definitely can't include personal dividends, because that's unearned income.

Ah in that case I lied :)

I take home the bare minimum atm as i've ploughed a fair bit into plan B.

I earn very little. It’s not really worth it to run this business. I’d be far better off claiming benefits, but I don’t want to be a scrounger. It’s better that I work for very little money than to not work at all.

That is my story and I’m sticking to it.

Apologies, should have been more specific.

Was alluding to, for want of a better term, take home pay.

i.e. At the end of a year, the amount of money you either did or could have taken.

Looks like there are two main categories as expected:

Permies < 90K
Contractors >90K

Oh and the third category:

Threaded > 500K

30k - 60k for me.

I get a "guaranteed" £32,000 from trucking (i.e. If I did nowt but truck thats what I would get). Contracting takes it higher.

When I've completed a year of contracting I will tell you guys!

Funnily enough, I've just had a danish gov. statistics form thingy to fill in about one of my children, and one of the questions was, in Danish, how much did you earn last month, and I answered: I don't know. And you know what, I really really don't care, as long as it is more than you.
