    Project and Invoicing Software

I'm searching in vain to find the right bit of software. I am a freelance IT consultant, and need some software to produce, track and manage my invoices and projects. Can anyone recommend anything?

Have tried various things for recording hours/doing invoices but in the end always came back to Excel. It has the flexibility to tailor things as you want that other packages just don't have.

        Excel here as well.

        Its just "easier".

If I had 30 guys working for me I might have an accounting system but I don't.

If you are looking for something like accounting software (track jobs, invoices, calculate VAT and Tax etc)

1- Quickbooks - lots of people here use it, Cojack recommended it

          2- http://www.turbocashuk.com/

btw: haven't tried any of the above, but heard good things about Quickbooks
