        Seriously, why blame satnav??? Surely this is a case of the driver not knowing the size of his vehicle and trying to squeeze through a gap that would not accomodate him.

        Exactly the same thing could have happened if he was using a road map.

        tulip driver IMHO, not a satnav problem.

            I wonder who paid for the large recovery lorry ?

            I wonder if the driver paid any fines

            you can rest assured had a British driver made such an error on the continent then would have been a list of fees to be paid immediately before the driver can resume the journey

                I seriously doubt it.

                Edit: Thats an English wagon anyway. Or a foreign wagon breaking cabotage rules. I mean why would a foreigner want a RHD vehicle unless they are over here a lot.
