    VAT question

    Hello all,
I finally got my VAT certificate through yesterday and can now back date my invoice to my agency. I am on the Flat rate of 13%.

I was wondering, if I was to purchase a computer for my business, Can I claim the VAT back?

Remember you get a discounted 1% for first year (i.e. 12%). I think items over £2000 can have VAT reclaimed when on FRS.
