    Well, that's the signal to buy more property. This time next year you will have made a fat profit.

    Evidently inflation is below government targets. They crack me up.

      I've just been watching Working Lunch, and "leading economist" bloke was saying they've done this because mortgage rates will be increasing anyway thanks to all the sub-prime turmoil. Also banks have been increasing rates on savings as a way of using our money rather than borrowing off each other and the BoE.

      He also said the housing market would struggle for the new few years.

      So all round good news for those of us without mortgages.
      Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
