What have Guinness and a priest got in common?

Both have black coats and white collars, and God help your arse if you get a bad one.

I used to get Guinness and red wine on prescription, 4 cans and a bottle a day and at the time I didn't like either so used to swap for ale. Bet you can't get that anymore???

its also full of iron - when my son was born my wife was anaemic and was advised to eat steak, spinach, Guinness and chocolate.

so used to cook steak & spinach in Guinness - followed by a bar of chocolate.

              ... those were the days
