Have I mentioned house prices are going up?

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6986770.stm

Average house prices in the UK are accelerating again, according to the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG).

Its latest survey shows that in July prices across the country rose by 2% to an average of £218,479.

The annual rate of house price inflation rose from from 12.1% to 12.4%, its highest since March 2005.

The main factor was soaring prices in London, where house price inflation is now 19.1%, and the South East.

Didn't sasguru sell al his London property just before the boom began? Wise old sasguru.

....but people are always going to need places to live. Add to that the fact that even if there's a short term collapse, long term it'll always grow.
