    I particularly like the warning

Once used rectally, the thermometer should not be used orally
    Good advice

It's generally something that looks a bit like a thermometer. Of course with a thermometer, it's also important to put the bulbous end in first.

But I have no experience whatsoever of these films of which you speak.

"It's generally something that looks a bit like a thermometer."

You mean you have a tool which is small, made out of glass and has a single red vein running straight down the side.

"Wet Floor" signs in shopping malls always get me... the number of times I've complied, only to be arrested.

Something that always gets me is when you see a sign that has the title "Polite Notice"

Well I'll decide wether its polite or not once I've read it if you don't mind.

It dates back to when you would see signs such as "Police Notice - No Parking". The idea was to make folks think it was an official notice, and you'd get fined for disobeying it.

Love seeing signs, especially in the states, that say “Belt Up”

                  Didn’t say a word ….

Knowing what ATM means is a sure fire sign that you're a pervy porn freak.

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson
