    the nice things you have done thread

    If you took this site seriously on first time viewing, you could get the impression that many contractors are rather negative selfish depressive people.

    Have we got any feelgood stories? Selfless acts?

    Yesterday, I ran after some old chap who had left his card in the ATM machine (on the do you require another service screen). He was very shocked that someone would actually do that these days (he might have had a knife?)

    Maybe you saved an old lady from a mugger?
    Maybe some of you do voluntary work?

    The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

    But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

      I have a similar ATM story - ran after a guy who walked away without taking the cash (£20)! He was clealy distracted by chatting to his bird about how skint he was - NO WONDER!!
