Are Labour dying a slow death?

Since the grinning spin master Bliar has left, is New Labour slowly dissolving into a grey communist Old Labour look and feel?

Dare I dream of a landslide victory for the Tories next year amid a background of debt, insolvencies, unemployment and financial meltdown?

The tories are in voter bribingmode...pretty soon they will fade back to insignificance...

The tories? Ah you mean the twin of New Labour. I tell you what, try writing to your MP, the challenging candidates and your local MEP with a practical problem which isn't easy to address and requires intervention at their level. See what response you'll get. At that point you'll discover why so few people care about politics now....Correction UK political parties now.

The mother of all parliaments is decided by a few swing voters in some key marginals. The rest of us have no say. Whoever gets in will ignore us for the term of the entire parliament.

Yes, but unfortunately the tories are dying a faster death, and the Lib Dems are pretty much there already.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Hard to say. The tories have certainly become more voter-friendly, whatever anyone thinks about how they have done it.

But remember that governments lose elections, oppositions don't win them.

That usually means the economy, and as long as credit remains free and easy to plug the holes, and voters remain thick enough not to wonder where it is all going, Labour will trundle on.

Labour wont allow that to happen. Because they are so slimy, corrupt and incompetent the Tories will be in with a shout even if they dont turn up.

Were the Tories not in for 18 years before Labour? Give or take a day or 2...
